At Fishtales, our passion for fishing runs deep. While we’re known today for crafting unique, custom-painted baits, our story began back in 2010 as a small, local bait and tackle shop in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
Our storefront is still open and thriving, and we’re here every day to serve the local fishing community. Whether you need quality tackle, live bait, or just a quick drink before heading out, we’ve got you covered. More than that, we take pride in being approachable and knowledgeable—always ready to share fishing tips, local insights, ice conditions, and anything else to help you have a successful day on the water.
We’re a husband-and-wife team and the sole owners behind Fish Tales. You’ll usually find my wife up front helping customers, while I’m in the back bringing custom bait designs to life, one paint job at a time.
